Our law students had the invaluable opportunity to attend the 1st National Pre-Lok Adalat at the District Court, Janipur, gaining a firsthand experience of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

They observed a variety of legal proceedings, including family disputes, settlement cases, motor vehicle accident claims, NDPS Act cases, and other civil and criminal matters. This exposure provided them with practical insights into courtroom procedures and the complexities of legal practice.

The event offered a unique learning platform, enhancing their understanding of real-world legal challenges and how they align with theoretical knowledge.

The School of Law, MIET, organized a visit to the Honourable Supreme Court of India, led by Mr. MD Shahid Anwar, Advocate-on-Record. Students observed live court proceedings and engaged with Supreme Court advocates, gaining invaluable insights into legal practice. The visit included stops at key institutions like the National Green Tribunal and the Union Public Service Commission, concluding with a session by Adv. Imran Ali on legal career prospects.
