Visit to the Honourable Supreme Court of India
The School of Law, MIET, organized an educational visit to the Honourable Supreme Court of India, providing students with a unique opportunity to witness live court proceedings and gain firsthand insights into the functioning of the country’s highest judicial institution. The visit was led by Mr. MD Shahid Anwar, Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India.
Highlights of the Visit:
- Live Court Proceedings: Students observed live proceedings at the Principal Bench and other courtrooms, offering them a practical understanding of judicial processes.
- Interactive Sessions with Advocates: Engaging discussions with prominent Supreme Court advocates, including Adv. Humaira, Adv. Ritu Raj, and Adv. Rajeev Agnihotri, provided students with valuable insights into legal practice at the apex court.
- Institutional Visits: The itinerary included visits to significant institutions such as Bharat Mandapam, the National Green Tribunal, and the Union Public Service Commission, enriching students’ knowledge of India’s legal and administrative framework.
- Legal Session with Adv. Imran Ali: The day concluded with an insightful session by Adv. Imran Ali, who shared perspectives on legal careers and guidance for aspiring lawyers.
